Judith Anne Hunt, age 84, of Jonesville, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. She was born on September 10, 1941, in Detroit, to Lyle and Elizabeth (Pashenee) Pidgeon. Judy married James Hunt on January 14, 1960, and he preceded her in death on May 7, 2023.

Judy attended Lincoln Park Schools and went on to work retail sales for Maas Brothers in Florida. She enjoyed taking trips to the casino, and her job which allowed her to work with the public. Judy was also a talented artist, who especially enjoyed drawing.

Judy is survived by her family, LuAnn (William) Newman, Wally (Robin) Mayhew, and Justin Mayhew; close friends, Kevin (Cindy) Magda; and 3 daughters.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, Jim Hunt, Judy was preceded in death by her three siblings, Lynn Stewart, Lyle Pidgeon, and James Pidgeon.

At her request, cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
