Joshua Derrick Jackson (Kchekeno), member of the bear and turtle clan, 42, of Wilson, passed away on November 6, 2025.

He was born on January 10, 1983 in Marquette, Ml, son to Phi lemon "Bean" Sprague and Earlene Dawn Jackson. Joshua enjoyed sports and spending time with his family. Among survivors include his father, Bean Sprague; children, Shanyce Shawano, Ceyenna (Nathen Wynos) Boychief, Serenity Jackson, Mequon Jackson, and Tthigwe Jackson; grandchildren, Shondreya, Ivory, and lyarah; the mothers of his children, Regina Boychief and Samantha Greenlund; brothers and sisters, Jared Jackson, Justin Smith, Jeremy Jackson, Kyle Boda, Darren Matrious, Kelli Jackson, and Deanna Thunder; and nieces and nephews, Warren G 111, Arias, Kchezhawno and Kailani, Kaylee, Alaura, Wyatt and Breanna, McKenna, Babi, Wase, Logan Jazlyn, Lilliann, Kayden, and Grayson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Earlene; brother, Warren Jr.; sisters, Christina and Felicia; and Aunt Sharon. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday with burial to follow at noon in the Hannahville Cemetery. (All times Eastern) The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.
