Eliza Jane Jackson-Peters, aged 52, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at her residence.

Born on June 13, 1973, in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Delores Kay Jackson. Eliza was a naturally fun-loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, visiting the casino, cooking, and trying new dishes at local restaurants. Despite battling cancer for two years, she faced it courageously, always with a smile on her face. She was baptized into the Christian Faith two years ago at Family Church in Mt. Pleasant.

Eliza found her greatest  joy in being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Tyler Jackson, Kaylee Jackson, Kris (Alexandra) Peters, Louanne Peters, and Wyett (Zoe) Peters; her bonus daughters, Heidi and Sarah; her grandchildren, Trenton, Lexie, Aiyana, Cole, Henry, Wesley, Corey, Sedwyn, and Makwa; her great granddaughter, Phoenix; her siblings, Michael Jackson, Patricia Jackson, Lisa Marie Bennett, and Mikey Bennett; her uncle and aunt, Donald and Leigh Chippewa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, including special cousins, Candace Benzinger, Diana Quigno, Paula Quigno, and Amelia and Gabe Jackson.

She was predeceased by her mother, Delores Kay Jackson; son, Ridge Jackson; maternal grandparents, Homer and Irene (Chippewa) Jackson; and several aunts and uncles.

A service celebrating Eliza's life will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, November 24, at the Tribal Gym with Felix Martinez officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service begins. Committal will be in Riverside Cemetery concluding with a luncheon back at the Tribal Gym. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the service or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home
